Juan Sebastián has represented and advised mass media in litigation related to the execution of electromagnetic spectrum concession contracts and the broadcasting of contents, news events and civil liability.

He has also participated in the negotiation of broadcasting rights contracts and in the defense of private television channels before the ICT sector authorities. He has collaborated in advising financial institutions on issues associated with digital banking, electronic signatures and the provision of value-added services.

Moreover, he has accompanied the structuring of start-ups from their initial stage to the development of their business model.

Before joining Gómez Consultores Jurídicos as a partner, Juan Sebastián worked as legal advisor at Jaeckel/Montoya Abogados, advising on antitrust investigations, unfair competition proceedings and on commercial, contractual, telecommunications and consumer protection matters.

Juan Sebastián was admitted to Stanford University’s LL.M. in Law, Science and Technology Class of 2023.

He was an assistant professor of the Introduction to Law class at CESA.
